Example: Mary (person), school (place), book (thing), love (idea). - Verb: Action words that show what someone or something is doing.
Example: Run, eat, read, sleep. - Adjective: Words that describe nouns by giving more information about them.
Example: Beautiful, tall, delicious.
Vocabulary
Synonyms and Antonyms
- Synonyms: Words that have similar meanings.
Example: Happy and joyful are synonyms as they both mean feeling good. - Antonyms: Words that have opposite meanings.
Example: Hot and cold are antonyms because they mean opposite temperatures.
