Introduction
Air and weather are important parts of our environment. We breathe air, and weather affects what we wear and what activities we can do each day.
What is Air?
- Air is all around us. We cannot see it, but we can feel it when it moves (wind).
- We need air to breathe. It helps us stay alive.
- When we blow up a balloon, we are filling it with air.
What is Weather?
- Weather is how hot or cold, wet or dry, and windy or calm it is outside.
- We use weather forecasts to know if it will rain, be sunny, or be cloudy.
- Seasons like rainy season and dry season are types of weather changes.
Fun Activity
Try this fun experiment:
- Blow up a balloon and tie the end.
- Place the balloon in the sun and one in the shade.
- Observe what happens to each balloon after some time.
- Write down your observations in a notebook.
Remember
