Introduction
Conservation of the environment means taking care of our surroundings to keep them clean and healthy.
Why is it important?
- Protecting Trees: We should plant more trees and avoid cutting them down. Trees give us fresh air to breathe.
- Waste Management: We should dispose of our waste properly by putting it in the right bins. This helps to keep our environment clean.
- Saving Water: We should use water wisely and not waste it. Water is precious and we need to conserve it.
How can we help?
- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: We can reduce the amount of waste we produce, reuse items like bottles and bags, and recycle things like paper and plastic.
- Planting Trees: We can plant trees in our school or community to create a green environment.
- Cleaning up: We can participate in clean-up activities to pick up litter and keep our surroundings clean.
Fun Activity
Try making a mini compost bin at home! Collect fruit peels, vegetable scraps, and dry leaves in a small container. Mix them together and watch how they turn into nutrient-rich soil for plants.
