Introduction

Weather is how the air and sky feel outside. It can be sunny, rainy, windy, or cloudy. Seasons are different times of the year with special weather patterns.

What is Weather?

  • Sunny: When the sun is shining brightly and it's warm.
  • Rainy: When water falls from the sky, you need an umbrella.
  • Windy: When you feel the air blowing around you.

What are Seasons?

  • Spring: Flowers bloom, and it's getting warmer.
  • Summer: It's hot, and you can play in the sun.
  • Autumn/Fall: Leaves change color and fall from trees.
  • Winter: It's cold, and sometimes it snows.

Fun Activity

Pick a day and observe the weather. Draw a picture of what you see outside - is it sunny, rainy, windy, or cloudy?
