Growth and Development
Introduction
Growth and development is all about how living things like plants, animals, and humans change and grow over time. It's like how a tiny seed grows into a big, strong tree.
Growth
- Plants: Think about how a small seed grows into a tall sunflower. It needs water, sunlight, and nutrients from the soil to grow.
- Animals: Just like how a puppy grows into a big dog, animals also go through growth. They need food and care to grow healthy and strong.
Development
- Humans: As we grow older, we change physically and mentally. Babies learn to crawl, walk, and talk. This is called development.
- Insects: Think about how a caterpillar turns into a beautiful butterfly. This is a process of development.
