Prayer and Worship
Introduction
Prayer and worship are ways of connecting with God. When we pray and worship, we show our love, respect, and gratitude to God.
What is Prayer?
- Talking to God: Just like talking to a friend, prayer is when we talk to God. We tell Him about our day, our feelings, and ask for help.
- Examples: Saying thank you before a meal, asking for good health, and praying for our family and friends.
What is Worship?
- Showing Love to God: Worship is when we show God how much we love Him. We can worship through songs, dance, and praise.
- Examples: Singing hymns in church, dancing during worship, and thanking God for His blessings.
Fun Activity
Try creating a prayer journal where you write down things you are grateful for and things you want to ask God for. You can decorate it with pictures and colors!
Remember
- Always be honest and sincere when you pray.
- Worship can be done anywhere, not just in church.
- God loves us and listens to our prayers.
