Prayer
Introduction
Prayer is talking to God. It is when we speak to God to thank Him, ask for help, or just to be close to Him.
What is Prayer?
- Thanking God: Just like when we say "thank you" to our friends or family for helping us, we can thank God for all the good things in our lives.
- Asking for Help: When we need help with something, we can ask God to give us strength and guidance, just like how we ask our teachers for help with our schoolwork.
- Being Close to God: Sometimes we pray just to feel close to God, like when we talk to our best friends about our feelings and thoughts.
When to Pray?
- Morning: We can start our day with a prayer, thanking God for the new day.
- Mealtime: Before meals, we can say a prayer to thank God for the food we have.
- Bedtime: We can end our day with a prayer, asking for a peaceful night's sleep.
