Introduction
Water is very important for living things. It helps us to drink, wash, and grow plants.
What is water?
- Liquid form: Water can be found in rivers, lakes, and even in a glass for drinking.
- Solid form: Ice is frozen water that we use to cool our drinks.
- Gas form: When the sun heats water, it turns into steam that we see in a kettle.
How do we use water?
- Drinking: We need water to keep our bodies healthy and strong.
- Cleaning: Water helps us wash our clothes, dishes, and even ourselves.
- Growing plants: Plants need water to grow big and healthy.
Fun Activity
Try this fun experiment:
- Take two glasses of water.
- Put one glass in the freezer and leave the other at room temperature.
- Check after a few hours to see which glass of water turns into ice.
