Poetry
Today we will learn about poetry, which is a type of writing that uses words in a special way to create feelings and pictures in our minds.
What is Poetry?
Poetry is like a song without music. It can be short or long and is written in lines. Sometimes poems rhyme, which means the words at the end of the lines sound the same.
Example:
Rain, rain, go away,
Come again another day.
