Craftwork is creating things with our hands using different materials. It is fun and allows us to be creative!

Types of Craftwork:

  1. Paper Crafts: Folding paper to make origami animals or cutting paper to create beautiful designs like snowflakes.

  2. Clay Modeling: Using clay to mold shapes like animals, fruits, or cars. We can also use tools to make patterns on the clay.

  3. Recycled Crafts: Making new things from old materials like creating a flower vase from a plastic bottle or a pencil holder from a toilet paper roll.

Quick Activity:
Let's make a paper butterfly!
Materials needed: Colorful paper, scissors, and glue.
Steps:

  1. Fold the paper in half.
  2. Draw half of a butterfly's wings on the folded paper.
  3. Cut along the lines.
  4. Unfold the paper to reveal a beautiful butterfly.
  5. Use glue to stick it on a wall or a piece of paper.

Craftwork is a fun way to express our creativity by making things with our hands using different materials.
