Characteristics of Living Things

  • Growth: Living things like plants grow by getting taller or producing more leaves.
  • Reproduction: Animals and plants can have babies or seeds to make new living things.
  • Response to stimuli: When you touch a plant, it may bend towards the light to get more sunlight.

Examples of Living Things

  1. Plants: Trees, flowers, and grass are examples of living things that grow and make seeds.
  2. Animals: Dogs, cats, birds, and insects are living things that move, eat, and reproduce.
