Introduction

Animals are living creatures that can move, eat, and breathe. They come in different shapes, sizes, and colors.

Types of Animals

  1. Mammals: These are animals that give birth to babies and feed them with milk. Examples include cows, cats, and elephants.
  2. Birds: Birds have feathers, wings, and beaks. They can fly in the sky. Examples include eagles, sparrows, and ostriches.
  3. Reptiles: Reptiles have dry scaly skin and lay eggs. Examples include snakes, lizards, and crocodiles.

How Animals Move

  • Walking: Some animals like dogs and goats walk on their legs.
  • Flying: Birds like eagles and owls can fly in the sky.
  • Swimming: Fish like tilapia and sharks swim in water.

Fun Activity

Go outside and observe the animals around you. Draw a picture of your favorite animal and write its name underneath.
