Introduction

Numbers are all around us and help us count things. In this lesson, we will learn about numbers from 1 to 10.

Number 1

  • Example: You have 1 nose on your face.
  • Explanation: When you count 1 item, you only have one of it.

Number 2

  • Example: You have 2 eyes to see.
  • Explanation: When you count 2 items, you have a pair of them.

Number 3

  • Example: You have 3 fingers on each hand.
  • Explanation: When you count 3 items, you have a few of them.

Fun Activity

Count the number of toys you have at home from 1 to 10. Arrange them in order and name each number as you count.
