Drama

Introduction

Drama is a way of telling stories through acting, using our bodies and expressions to show emotions and actions.

What is Drama?

  • Acting: Pretending to be someone or something, like a doctor or a tree.
  • Dialogue: Speaking like the character you are pretending to be, using their words.
  • Emotions: Showing how a character feels through facial expressions and body movements.

How do we do Drama?

  • Role-play: Pretending to be characters from a story or everyday life.
  • Improvise: Making up a scene or dialogue on the spot without a script.
  • Express: Using our faces and bodies to show different feelings like happiness, sadness, or excitement.

Fun Activity

Try acting out a short scene with a friend or family member. Choose characters, create a simple story, and use your expressions and movements to bring it to life!

Remember

  • Act like your character
  • Use your voice and body to express emotions
