Jesus is our Friend

Introduction

In today's lesson, we will learn about how Jesus is our friend. Just like how you have friends to play with and talk to, Jesus is a special friend who loves and cares for us.

Who is Jesus?

Jesus is a special friend who teaches us to be kind and help others, just like how a good friend would. He listens to us when we talk to him in prayers, and he watches over us to keep us safe.

How Jesus Shows He is Our Friend

  • Jesus Loves Us: Just like how your friends show they care about you by being kind, Jesus loves us all the time.
  • Jesus Helps Us: When we have problems or feel sad, we can talk to Jesus in prayers, and he helps us feel better.
  • Jesus Teaches Us: Jesus teaches us to be good friends to others by showing kindness and sharing love.

Fun Activity

Draw a picture of you with Jesus, showing how you imagine him as your friend. You can include things that you like to do together or how he makes you feel happy.

Remember

  • Jesus is our special friend who loves us always.
  • We can talk to Jesus in prayers and he listens to us.
  • Jesus teaches us to be kind and help others, just like a good friend would.
