Migration

Definition: Migration refers to the movement of people from one place to another, either within a country (internal migration) or between countries (international migration).

Example: When individuals move from a rural village to a city in search of better job opportunities, it is an example of internal migration.

Population Pyramid

Definition: A population pyramid is a graphical representation that shows the distribution of various age groups and genders in a population.

Example: A population pyramid with a wide base indicates a high birth rate, while a narrow base suggests a declining birth rate.
