What is Poetry?

Types of Poetry

1. Rhyming Poems: These poems have words that sound the same at the end of each line.

   Example:

2. Acrostic Poems: In these poems, the first letter of each line spells out a word or message.

   Example:

   Cats are cuddly
   All day long
   Tails up high
   Soft fur to touch
